Dieno-Kare 30

Dieno-Kare 30 is fourth generation combined oral hormonal preparation containing dienogest, a progestogen with strong endometrial and anti-androgenic activity, and ethinylestradiol, a synthetic estrogen. Dienogest suppresses ovulation, inhibits endometrial proliferation, and reduces estrogen-driven endometriotic activity, while ethinylestradiol suppresses FSH, stabilizes the endometrium, and ensures cycle control. Together, they provide effective contraception and relief from endometriosis-related symptoms.

Ethinylestradiol IP 30 mcg

Take one tablet daily for 21 consecutive days, starting on Day 5 of your menstrual cycle (counting the first day of bleeding as Day 1), followed by a 7-day pill-free interval. For best results, take the tablet at the same time each day. Once the pack gets over, start with a new one. If you experience vomiting within 4 hours of dose intake, take another tablet. In case you missed your dose and you are late by 12 hours in taking the missed dose, use a condom during intercourse for a period of 2 days. If you experience stomach upset, then start taking it with food in the evening or at bedtime.
